WCS-Japan travelog - Costume Selection Revised and Getting Ready to Fly

Hello everyone! This would be the last Journal entry before i leave from Malaysia to Japan for 10 days of WCS program... which includes a lot of traveling, press conferences, photoshoots, and of course, the Championship itself on the 7th of August (Sunday)! Phew.. we shall be needing lots of coffee! We'll be leaving later at 8pm from KLIA. *dokidoki*

So after some advices from our organizer, we changed our costume selection as such:

Series: Umineko No Naku Koro Ni
Yuan: Battler
Sky: Beatrice
FOR: Press in Tokyo, Press in Nagoya, and Sweet Castle Photoshoot (omg i shall stink so much hahahaha...)

Series: Yu Yu Hakusho
Yuan: Yuusuke
Sky: Genkai
FOR: Ossu Parade day

and for the grand finale.... revealing our Championship costumes will be:

Series: Petshop of Horrors
Yuan: T-chan + Count D
Sky: Shuko/Kanan/Junrei + Dragon

Honestly, I'm sooo very very happy i could finally cosplay PSOH again! Originally it was planned for the wcs-prelims, but we had to changed it to .hack//GU because i was facing my finals and couldn't finish it in time. And right now right before WCS-japan, it was Yuan's turn to face her finals!!! Oh dear lord the challenges of life!! But... we manage it to proceed with it regardless!! YAAAAY!!! **'proceed' because... we're still working on our costumes ahahah but we'll get them done in time!!!

PSOH has a special place in my heart because it's one of my first cosplays. Now after a lots of years, i'm bringing back my old love, with a whole lot of upgrading, and huge trust and support by my partner Yuan and the Malaysian Cosplay community friends!! Thank you very much, everyone!! As promised, we will learn as much as we can from this trip, have as much fun as we can, behave ourselves, and ganbatte real hard on our cosplays!

Plz pray for our well being n safety n everything to go right! ^^ WCS ppl, looking forward to meet u! Malaysian cosplayers, we'll see u again after we get back on the 11th, with lots of stories to tell!


It took the combined effort of 6-rather-clueless-ppl to figure out the mechanism to make this dragon 'talk' and also the construction overall. I'm happy with the final product! U shall see it later!
