..but it won't do the photoshoot justice without rewinding the story way back because it involved a lot of sweat n tears from many ppl as well as a lot of water trolling.
The plan started off some time end of 2010 when i found out my old Gintama-Katsura costume has the same colour as Demon Nura Rikuo's default costume...which i then proceed to convince teh smexy Yuan to be my master if i cosplay Yuki Onna. And then we manage to 'book a spot' with Mr.blur to be our photographer. And then comes the location scouting and official permission getting (which are mostly done by Yuan). And buying the materials.
Then a lot of procrastinating. A hell lot of procrastinating. Hey life gets caught with ya... or i got caught with life....regardless i got busy until... Friday night, 2 nights before the shoot. Panic button ON!!! X___X Thankfully i have awsm friends like Ikki n Dei (n Yuan naturally) to help me make the costumes...from drafting to cutting to stenciling to 'tetas benang' as i myself battle with the sewing machine.
Saturday morning we had a Yu Yu Hakusho shoot team lead by Hani. It was nicely hot n sunny and the shoot lasted all day. That Saturday night went back home and continue making our Nurarihyon costume, this time Cappy came over to help out. At 1 point my sewing machine GG-ed and i was max-stressed n Yuan did the finishing touches by hand-sewing some as i GG-ed.
Sunday morning.... HOLY COW IT'S RAINING REALLY HARD!!! But nevermind staying positive, we all went to change at Yuan's place (it took all 3 ppl and millions of safety pins to dress me up oooh i feel like a princess~ teehee). We then proceed to a Japanese restaurant nearby, 1 hour late coz of the rain n traffic (i'm sorry!!) and Blur n his sidekick Ryein was already there. We did shoot while eating lunch for 2 hours.
We specifically ordered sake for this shot.

Then we all went for a ride up Bukit Tinggi...reaching there.... IT'S STILL RAINING OMG!!!! u trolling sky!!! No not me... u get the point.
Regardless the shoot must go on~ We're so lucky and grateful to have Cappy shading me, Ikki shading Yuan, and Ryein shading Blur.... we all hv our own amazing helper. it's perfecto!! Despite being cold n sick, and the unplanned never-ending rain, Blur worked hard and did an amazing job at making clicky magic!
Yeap most of our shots are indoor or under some room because of the heavy rain. Blur somehow worked with the environment to set the mood.... amazing! *___* Very Pro!
But then, i was determined to get at least 1 shot of the beautiful Japanese GARDEN. Come on~ the garden was the main reason for the 2 hours drive! So we worked out an arrangement... using umbrellas Ryein shielded Blu the photographer, Ikki shielded the camera, and Cappy shielded the cosplayers. At the count of 1-2-go, Cappy runs out of the shot-frame, Blur clicks, Cappy runs back to shield cosplayer, repeat process about 3 times...
...and we get ^ THIS!!! Winning shot of the day that made all the pain worthwhile. i blame myself for the badly positioned fringe that made my nose rounder than ever....but otherwise, postcard-worthy-shot from Blur.
Dedicated saikang warriors Ryein, Cappy, and Ikki~ love you guys lots!!! Too bad no shot of Blur. Love you lots too!

Yeah!! We awsm ppl ain't afraid of wee lil' rain! \m/We ended the shoot early, henshin to casual-mode and explore the French village and Medieval Resort+parkinglot with an addition of Allen and Arisa to our adventure-party under-the-rain. Ohohooo we are so planning a Pandawan Hearts exploration there sometime soon. Finally around 9pm we called it a night and went back home.
