Journey Log WCS M'sia Round B - part 2 (final)

Some YAOI to start off the blog post!! 8D Well it's actually Team Genso Suikoden's WCS Malaysia skit, between father and son.... but we all agree it looks kinda 'wrong' in this shot ehehehehe~


26th June (Sun) - WCS Round B (final round) @ Cosfest, ACM-Group Round

Me and Yuan woke up at 6am to do my crazy makeup (pale skin with veins and fake eyeballs). Yuan did most of the makeup on my face and hers (ARTIST!!). The boys cosplayers in the other room, cooked us Maggie (instant noodles) n chicken wings for breakfast. We girls feel so loved~

We left for Cosfest at 10am. Proceed to wearing my costume at that SUPERDUPERCOOOOOLD changing room backstage. Kids n Yuan had to help me wear my super crazy costume. Kids even had to massage me every few minutes because my legs were cramping up from the cold. Yuan wore her paper armor outside that room. There were a lot of rushing n stress n miscommunication.... but in the end we manage to start our WCS-Malaysia- Round B performances at around 3+pm. Feel sorry about our audiences/friends who waited since 12 noon. Sorry guys... but we were told it's normal for schedule to be dragged on forever at Singapore... even later in Japan as well. *shrugs*

Anyway... for some reason all WCS-Malaysia teams had some sort of 'technical problem' that day... even for us! (But we'll keep it a secret n let u enjoy the show). All skits are 2 and half minutes maximum, according to the rules.

We actually did a video projection on the projection screen on the left and right part of the stage... but somehow NOBODY recorded it! )= So Hani uploaded it n now you can view that video HERE!!!

At the end of it all, it was the WCS-Singapore-Round B's turn to perform. There were 3 teams overall competing: Evangelion, Sangokushi Taisen, and Dragon Nest.

After that a few minutes break, and continued on with ACM-Group Performances from 5 countries~ Thailand, Korea, Phillipines, Singapore, and Malaysia!

We only walked around within the caged area in front of the stage because by costume is so space consuming! (It's very light don't worry, just bulky). I'm glad some of our friends went inside the caged area or we wld never be able to see them!! *hughug*

Result announcement is at 7pm (correct me if i'm wrong). The winners are...

Right after event ended, we were 'kidnapped' by the WCS-Japan organisers to fill up TV-Aichi forms, briefing on our trip, and a photoshoot. After that rush to change out of costumes, me and Kids crying on each other backstage, and then dismantle+pack our props n costumes, with the help of our Malaysian friends Reno, Fez, Sean, Kids, Dai... thank you gais u helped a lot!! *group hug* We threw away half of my costume and also the 'golden dragon'. Regretfully we were quite late, deepest apologies to SCC organisers and other teams that had to wait for us Malaysians to finish up packing. Really sorry!!

That night, a quick shower at our apt, then off for a midnight dinner at a steamboat place, sponsored by our organizers. It was niiiice~ but some of us fell asleep at the restaurant from exhaustion hahaha...


The Phillipines n Koreans. Thailands are at the table beside it. We're gonna miss you sooooo much, u awsm cool sexy ppl~!!! Home we'll be able to meet u all again next time!!

Went back apartment...slept till next morning.... then another 6 hour drive back to Kuala Lumpur for me, Yuan, and Kids.

And that concludes our journey of WCS Malaysia! Our next adventure would be the WCS Finals at Nagoya Japan, on the first week of August. Sky and Yuan will represent Malaysia, with help and support from our fellow Malaysian Cosplayers!! We're working hard to present something new and memorable. Do pray for our health and success!
