Umineko-Chiru Group Photoshoot

Second group photoshoot of Umineko, this time focusing on the game continuation Umineko No naku Koro Ni Chiru. We chose this location because it's almost like a replica of the Gazebo-Garden in the series. The ppl are cooperative and fun! The weather is bright and (obscenely) hot! The sky is blue. Overall good i say. =D Thank you for making this happen, everyone!!!

I ship this pairing 8D teehee~

Moe much, yes?! *___* The costume belongs to me, but i think Kids pulls off a better Eva-B than i do.

Photos by e-jump. You can find the rest of the photos on his website HERE.

Also...plenty of Omake shots by Hexlord HERE. i blame Kinzo for dragging us into so much trollolo randomness.

Hexlord also took some behind-the-scene VIDEO which can be found here. im sorry for being such a diva hahaha~!!!

Thank you again everyone for making it a success!!! Umineko love forevaa~!!! It's the first time i worked with Hexlord and e-jump in a photoshoot. Both awsm photographers with different shoot-styles and lens. Thank you very much and hope we could work together again in the future!!

WCS/ACM-2011 preparation

As promised, with the submission of my final assignment at college today and the beginning of a 1 week term-break.... my cosplay spirit is back in the game!

As it is, WCS-Malaysia Rules and Regulations are out!! And apparently the organizer decided to overlap it with ACM-Malaysia this year. Hmmm..... this is new.

i had some trouble understanding the complicated system at the beginning, by i'm glad Singapore Cosplay Club (the organizer) are quick and willing to clarify a lot of my questions! Which i then pass the knowledge to other fellow cosplayers. thank you very much! I tried to convince my fellow cosplayers to join as well...but i can only do so much. )= Have to admit everything is very challenging and mindblowing.... but i'm glad Team Sotong never admitted defeat yet, so we're definitely going for it!! MALAYSIA BOLEH!!! \o/

PERSONAL ORZ-NESS

Right now the organizer is handling the accommodation+ transportation in Johor + a party (?) of the Johor ACM+ACM prelims on 3rd-5th June. What is making us OTL so much at this moment, they make it compulsory for contestants to take their service and pay RM100-120 each person. Yes this amount may not be much for a Singaporean, but it's a lot for a Malaysian, especially students like us. For my team personaly, which comprises of 3 contestants and 3 saikangs, we could and able to get accommodation n transportation through spirit of camaraderie, somehow. So.... i hope everything will go well in the end. Q^Q i hate it when money comes in the way of doing the things we love. *begs at the Pasar Seni sidewalk for donation*

COSPLAY PLANS

Since the announcement of the rules, we did a major change of our cosplay plans. We'll be doing different cosplays for each competition. Decided to keep the whole plan under wraps for now, so there will be no public updates on progress. But one thing for sure, we're trying to do something totally different from the armor-based costumes everyone else seems to be planning. *w*

Also we decided to make all costumes handmade (despite ACM does allow our costume to be tailored or taobao ordered). Yes... regrettably our handiwork might not be as awsm....but we're just crazy stubborn penniless Keluang Manz HAHAHA!!! We fight thru the night to make the world a better place!! *gets shot* Please continue to support us as we struggle through our crazy plans~ And to all other contestants, GANBATTE!!! Malaysia Boleh Lah!!

FIGHTO!!!

P/S unrelated but.... this ACM/WCS thing made me not able to buy and wear a genuine Yukata for Bon Odori this year. There goes one of my year's resolution. TT^TT

Project Sotong / Burung Hantu / Kuda / Pandawan Hearts pt 1

With WCS news out, (but prelims date remains a mystery) we decided on our plans and started our progress (since it'll take forever to make em).

TEAM SOTONG comprises of Sky and Yuan as the cosplayers and our lovely SS family as backups. Kids, Cappy, Dei has willingly given their allegiance (wololo~) to help in our quest (and hopefully more help to come? *pikapika eyes*). Srsly... i feel very 'terharu' O__Q Let's work hard together n stand united!! Malaysia Boleh!!

PROJECT SOTONG!!

WORK IN PROGRESS - HASEO

Since Yuan's costume was done within last November-December, here's a picture-vomit of all her work-in-progess lol. All armour parts were completely made by Yuan. I helped in the making of her white-black top (a.k.a sewing-related). Her pants are her own.

#trufact: All armour parts are 100% paper and double sided tape.

Top originally ordered from taobao.com but as u can see they made it 95% WRONGLY!!!! So i had to totally dismantle it, re-pattern and sew it back together plus adding leather and stripes. (not that u can see it... it's just we get personal satisfaction from accuracy)

End results!!! <3 Taken at Comic Fiesta 2010 by Razriq (thank u!)

WORK IN PROGRESS - ZOMBITOLI part 1

Still in discussion-mode. Dumping reff pics here so we won't loose it (again) after pc/laptop/hardrive failure. A lot of work ahead~ S.O.S! S.O.S!

PROJECT OWL (a.k.a Alichino)

Progressing veeeery slowly. So far we only bought materials: 70% of wings, 50% of cloth and 10% props.

PROJECT PANDAWAN HEARTS (a.k.a Pandora Hearts group)

So far i only got the wig. Yuan bought his wig already and in-progress costume at tailor. i myself will dump my costume at the capable hands of the tailor as well later.

PROJECT KUDA (a.k.a .hack//Link group)

too busy.... =A=b sorry groupmates... this might take a while....
