TRC - Kurogane X Tomoyo photoshoot

Yes, this was the costumes we both puked-blood over for a month for AFA submssion but never got through. Didn't get the chance to wear them after that so we did a photoshoot on the last day of 2010 to give the costume n characters the TLC they deserve! <3

Cosplayers:

My headgear is so fuwa n troublesome. i wouldn't have survived if it wasn't for Hani n Yuan's constant help making them look presentable. Much love to u both~ *morest morest*

Also, this was the first time i worked with Valh a.k.a Valiant Ho. i've seen his works before and it's wo WOW! I am truly fortunate n grateful that he's willing to be my photographer for this shoot! thank you so much!! <3 I was quite worried because he was so dead silent throughout the shoot session. Naturally i was right-at-home working with Hani coz i'm used to her 'aggresive' directions and placements. But I don't know what Valho was thinking... are you ok... or any feedback on your ideas/creative output. Coz i feel a shoot is a combined work and brainstorming of both cosplayers n photographers, right? In the end i worried for nothing... the outcome was great anyway hahaha~ See what i mean...

I truly love Tomoyo-Kurogane's relationship... but i do give my blessing to KuroFai as well. ohohoho.... *coughneedafaicough*

Actually, I really love how different people always have different style of editing. Like... their own signature or something. I hope i can work with more photographers that i never worked with before in the future. I hope the photographers are willing to work with me though uuu~~ ><;; (I know i'm not a moe-blob but) I will give my best to produce shoot-worthy costumes!! \o/ If any photographers out there wanna work with me for a shoot, plz don't be afraid to approach me (coz most of the time i'm too shy to approach you guys actually ahahaswt)

The first Umineko Group shoot

Yes i know... i left this blog dead long enough. Time to revive it!

This is the story of the first Umineko Group Shoot i organized way in July 2010 (and the first time i cosplayed together with my current gf). It was a rather small group since there wasn't much Umineko cosplayers yet.

Cosplayers:
Battler = yuan
Beatrice = me
Narukids = eva-Beatrice (costume belongs to me)
Siesta 00 = Dai

I had the opportunity to work with Raz and KC for the first time. Their works always amazed me before and i feel really lucky to be able to work with them!! Thank you very much you guys!!! And really sorry i was late coz i got lost so baaaad trying to get to the location ahahaha~

With a little 'goreng' i managed to get the upper floor of Smokehouse Restaurant to do the shoot. The interior was sooo nice n brown but the room was pretty dark and Raz n KC was having a hard time to get the proper lighting for a good shot. But they did their best!! Wish i could say the same for myself... my face tends to look stressed when i have to hold a pose for too long. i'm soooo sorry world!! orz

Here i want to say thanks again to the awsm photographers, my fellow Umineko cosplay teamates and my wonderful Helper Extraordinaire Ikki~!!! Now on to the pictures~

Our next Umineko Group shoot (with even more cosplayers yay~ spread the Umineko love) will be held in February 2011 outdoor. I'll be doing the release hair version of Beatrice from Chiru. I'm really looking forward to it! Hope it will be a success!! \o/

On related note... here is my submission for the Valentine's Day thing at Cosplay-lah DA. The theme was Guns & Roses.... so i used a quote from a Guns 'N' Roses (the rockband) song lyrics. It really defines Battler-Beatrice relationship, dontcha think?! 8D
